This site collects as little as it can. Here is what it collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What does this site collect?
Your email address, when you subscribe to the newsletter. That is all the newsletter needs.
Your assessment answers, when you take the store self-assessment: your name, email address, store URL, the yearly revenue range you pick, your answers to the twelve questions, the scores they produce, whether you ticked the newsletter box, and whether you asked me to reach out.
Usage data, through Google Analytics: the pages you view, your device and browser, a rough location, and how you got here. Google sets cookies to do this. There is no ad tracking on this site.
Server logs, kept by the companies that host and protect the site. These include your IP address.
How is it used?
To send you the weekly newsletter, if you subscribed. To read your assessment answers and, if you asked, to reach out about working together. To see which pages and videos bring people here, so I can make the site better.
I do not sell your information. I do not share it with anyone except the services below, and only so they can do their job.
Who handles it?
- My own database, where newsletter signups and assessment submissions are stored.
- The email platform that sends the newsletter, [Klaviyo, once it is connected].
- Google Analytics, for usage data.
- DigitalOcean and Cloudflare, which host and protect the site.
How long is it kept?
Your email address stays on the newsletter list until you unsubscribe. Assessment submissions are kept [for N months, or until you ask me to delete them]. Usage data follows Google Analytics retention, [currently 14 months].
What can you do?
Unsubscribe any time with the link at the bottom of every email. To see, correct, or delete anything else I hold about you, [contact route for privacy requests: a dedicated address or a form]. I will reply within [N business days].

This site is for business owners, not children. If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
