Applied AI Systems for operators
A research lab studying how AI systems find, parse, cite, and route users to websites. Lighter publishing cadence, heavy crawler activity — proof that AI returns to sites it has learned to trust.
What’s the angle?
Minnesota.AI is the home for controlled experiments on AI discoverability. It publishes open data, frameworks, and findings on how language models pick which sites to surface and cite — including a documented 24.9% conversion rate from a single ChatGPT citation. The site itself is a worked example of those findings.
What does the crawler data prove?
Most low-content sites disappear from AI consideration once launch novelty fades. Minnesota.AI doesn’t. The crawler activity below shows steady return visits long after the original publishing burst — the signature of a site AI has decided is worth re-checking.
